About The Company
PT Energi Sengkang ('PTES') is an independent power producer company primarily engaged in the production and sale of electric power.
We are one of the subsidiaries of a major foreign energy investor, Energy
World Corporation Limited (‘EWC’), located in Indonesia. Our business is
to generate electricity and sell it to PT PLN Persero ('PLN'). Our company
vision is to strive to provide a safe, healthy and stimulating work
environment that maximizes opportunities to generate more electric
power using green technology for public demands through PLN grid.
We currently own and operate a 315 MW power plant in Patila Village,
10 Km from Sengkang, Wajo Regency, South Sulawesi.
There is a growing demand for efficient and clean power generation in
Indonesia; this growth presents us with opportunities. We intend to
selectively develop new power generation capacity fuelled by natural gas
in locations where the ability to satisfy increasing local demand is
restricted by the limited fuel supply and generation capacity currently in
place.
